New Theme
You may recall that I said I was designing myself a new theme. It was all going well until I realised I couldn't design at all. I had a stroke of inspiration, and hacked out the design you see to the left directly in html/css, no photoshop involved. However, when it came to design the archives pages, and the single posts pages I choked.
This is where Tony stepped in to save the day. I've worked with him on a few projects, and we get on really well. He's starting up his own blog, and doesn't have the first idea how to imlement his own design it. Fortunately, he's a kickass designer. We decided that if he designed both our blogs, I'd code them up.
One sunny afternoon in Leeds, we met up and sketched out some wireframes for how the content should be placed on the page. It was a surprisingly easy session, as we both knew kind of what we wanted, and as soon as it was down on paper we saw what we wanted to change. Three hours of work and procrastination later, we were done.
That was about 3 weeks ago, and proper work on my design's been started this week. I've got to say, I love how it's looking so far, and can't wait for it to go live.
You know, in about 2 months when it's done and coded ![]()

Tony can design my blog, but no one is able to implement the code unless I pay. I’m not paying.
I could code it for you! I didn’t know that you had a blog, you should give us a link
